Arabic gum is a water-soluble fiber derived from the Sudanese acacia tree. Gum Arabic has many medicinal and nutritional uses due to its antioxidant, hypoglycemic and antibacterial properties.
It has low molecular weight and low viscosity due to its polysaccharide chains and abundant branching, and can form a soft gel when dissolved in water. High solubility, low viscosity and reasonable sales price of Arabic gum make it an ideal material for use in the bread and confectionery industry and flavoring sprays.
Applications & Types: This product is in two types in terms of usage. One is used in products such as confectionery, bakery, snacks, flavorings & dairy products as an emulsifier and making texture .The next type used in non-alcoholic beverages.
